The Holographic Field is the Universal Mind

Sutra 1:3 Let us quickly refresh our memory of sutra 1.1 and 1.2

(1:1) We are introduced to ourselves as energy patterns with their own unique energy signature that is defined by the type of information it contains.

(1:2) We get schooled in how order is acquired through evolution of the information within these thought patterns by moving from lower thinking to a higher way of being. This enhancement in quality of the information is what saints and sages refer to as the evolvement of consciousness. Please pay close attention to what the difference is between the Mind and Consciousness in the next Sutra.

Sutra 1:3 tada drashtuh svarupe avasthanam

As the practice of Yoga pervades the heart of an aspirant, the neurons that process the perception of information stabilize and settle(avasthanam). In these moments, ignorance is transcended leading to brief moments of retention in memory asto what the nature of reality is(svarupe). In these moments of clarity, the seer abides in his true nature; the all-knowing, all-seeing, and all-powerful Spirit. The soul, for a fraction of a second, merges with the Absolute.

Perception

Each perceived stimulus is seeded with information by the mind and sent to the brain which then translates the information into an electrical impulse. The degree of order or chaos is seated in the information ingrained electrical impulse by the human autonomous system, which we will talk about later. The extent of order present defines the intelligence of the energy content.

As our heart and thought is purified through the cultivation of love and compassion, the chatter in the left hemisphere of the brain gradually subsides while the right hemisphere awakens to process the signals sent by the loving heart to the exact degree that the left hemisphere relinquishes its obsessions and addictions.

Resonance of the Left and Right Hemispheres

The universe has a memory and as a person evolves in heart, mind, and habit, higher laws of the universe that were not accessible to him before, now come to his aid. Resonance occurs as your energy becomes similar in vibration to one of higher order. As you advance on the creative spiritual path, you draw from the collective memory of seekers who have gone before you. Everything in existence has a collective memory and this library of information is known as the Akashic records, or the Holographic Field.

NOTE: The Holographic Field is also known as the Universal Mind.

Before resonance with a higher energy vibration becomes possible, there needs to be harmony between the left and right hemispheres of the brain. The synchronization between the left and right hemisphere happens at around 7.86 Hz – 8 Hz which is the fundamental heartbeat of the planet. The heartbeat of the planet is better known as Schumann resonance, and is named after physicist Winfried Otto Schumann, who documented it mathematically in 1952. Schumann resonance is a global electromagnetic resonance that lives within the cavity that exists between the earth’s surface, and the ionosphere. This cavity resonates with electromagnetic waves in the extremely low frequencies of approximately 7.86Hz – 8 Hz.

The ordinary thought waves created by the human brain range from 14 Hz to 40 Hz. This range only includes certain types of dendrites belonging to brain cells, predominantly within the left (the so called, more rational) hemisphere of the brain, which is the centre of activity. Planning, strategizing, grasping, hoarding, scheming, envying, and wanting are all workings of the left hemisphere. Dominant activity on this side will always result in feelings of aversion, depression, anger, anxiety, shame, and fear.

A tranquil mind is needed for the transfer of information required for cultivation of mindfulness and compassion because the transfer of information between neurons becomes optimal when their activity is synchronized, as in a tranquil mind. source

If the two hemispheres of our brain are synchronized with each other at 8Hz, they work more harmoniously and with a maximum flow of information between the individual and the universal mind. In other words, the frequency of 8 Hz seems to be the key to the full and sovereign activation potential of our brain, which then communicates with the holographic repository of information contained within the Akashic records.

  • 1:3 tada drashtuh svarupe avasthanam
  • TADA - at a particular time. or during an activity.

  • DRASHTUH - a scene, or in this case the observer. Not the faculties of perception (5 senses) but that which is the silent witness to all; the unaffected observer.

  • SVARUPA - in its own nature or reality as it is.

  • AVASTHANAM – tranquility that arises as a result of the thoughts settling.
